Acupuncture

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
The lymphatic system is the detox center of our body. It moves the lymphatic fluid through our lymph vessels and dumps all the debri we don't need into our lymph nodes to be cleaned/filtered. Since it doesn't have it's own pump, it can become stagnated and cause edema,puffiness, a feeling of heaviness, lowered immunity and slow us down overall.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a form of manual therapy that applies light touch and helps move the lymphatic fluid to the designated lymph nodes.
There are many versions of lymphatic drainage, and it can be confused with massage.
Although lymphatic drainage can be practiced in massage practices the version I practice is called Vodder style and originated in Europe. It was invented to help with chronic respiratory ailments, sinus infections and swollen lymph nodes.
It is considered a medical technique and it is used globally in clinics to treat lymphedema, chronic swelling, post surgical swelling and pre operative support to reduce swelling and complications post surgery.
Lymphatic drainge is now popular for it's beauty benefits, which can be an additional perk.
Please note that lymphatic drainage and MLD are not a "one and done" technique. Although you can receive MLD one time and feel lighter afterwards, often times a treatment plan is recommended.

Please note: if scheduling post surgery, I will need a referral or note from your primary approving the appointment.

I am available and have experience in attending/administering ear needling, community style acupunture and/or ear seed insertion at events and in groups. Please reach out for more details and availability.
